| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, the Georgia Transportation Alliance is the state's only organization focused4 |

| 21 | 21 | | solely on identifying and promoting long-term transportation solutions specifically connected5 |

| 22 | 22 | | to economic development and job creation. GTA is the transportation arm and affiliate of the6 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Georgia Chamber and works closely with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Georgia7 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Ports Authority, and other key stakeholders in Georgia with the goal of ensuring an efficient8 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | and safe statewide multi-modal transportation system; and9 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Maddison Hendershot served as Deputy Director of the Georgia Transportation10 |

| 27 | 27 | | Alliance from January 2017 to February 2025, during which time she supported the11 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | operations of the organization, facilitated board member engagement, and directly12 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | coordinated with Georgia General Assembly members and other community leaders; and13 |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Maddison Hendershot has been invaluable in assisting the members of the14 |

| 31 | 31 | | House of Representatives Committee on Transportation in carrying out their important work,15 |
