| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Delane Roberts has long been recognized by the citizens and leaders of this3 |

| 20 | 20 | | state for the vital role she has played in state and local government and her deep personal4 |

|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, for the past 32 years, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted6 |

| 23 | 23 | | innumerable hours of her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of the daily7 |

| 24 | 24 | | operations of the Georgia General Assembly, as evidenced by her service to the Georgia8 |

| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, she began her career with the Georgia House of Representatives on January 1,10 |

| 27 | 27 | | 1993, and has served numerous members over the years, including 12 years as the Defense11 |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, she excelled in each of these roles, demonstrating a keen ability to identify13 |

| 39 | 39 | | involved in her faith community, where her father, Jessie Roberts, and she was a devoted20 |

| 40 | 40 | | caregiver to her mother, Sue Bearden Roberts, and her aunt, Eloise Bearden Bell, until their21 |

| 42 | 42 | | WHEREAS, she has announced her retirement, effective January 1, 2025, and is to be23 |

| 43 | 43 | | honored for her decades of efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the24 |

| 45 | 45 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 |
