1616 Encouraging the United States Congress to investigate the dispersion of chemicals into the

1818 sky by aircraft, so as to understand the effects of such dispersion on air, soil, and water2
1919 quality in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.3
2020 WHEREAS, it is documented that the federal government and other entities acting on the4
2121 federal government's behalf or at the federal government's request may conduct5
2222 geoengineering experiments by intentionally dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere, and6
2323 those activities may occur within the State of Georgia; and7
2424 WHEREAS, dispersing chemicals into the atmosphere has been observed to leave visible8
2525 trails in the sky; and9
2626 WHEREAS, the risk to human health and environmental welfare from broadscale10
2727 geoengineering that leaves visible trails in the sky is currently not well understood; and11
2828 WHEREAS, the United States has exclusive sovereignty of airspace of the United States; and12

3131 WHEREAS, it is the intent of the House of Representatives to protect the public health and

3333 welfare of Georgians.14
3434 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that15
3535 the members of this body encourage the United States Congress to investigate the dispersion16
3636 of chemicals into the sky by aircraft, so as to understand the effects of such dispersion on air,17
3737 soil, and water quality.18
3838 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19
3939 and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to the20
4040 members of the Georgia delegation to the United States Congress.21
