A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett, the 2024 Literary State Champions in

Dramatic Interpretation; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett have brought honor to Forsyth Central High3
School and earned recognition as the 2024 Literary State Champions in Dramatic4
Interpretation; and5
WHEREAS, Christen and Gavin prevailed despite fierce competition from schools in6
Cherokee County, Grayson County, and Richmond Hill; and7
WHEREAS, their hard work, dedication, and perseverance have set an inspiring example of8
success for future competitors and their peers; and9
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper to recognize the accomplishments of these10
outstanding individuals.11
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that12
the members of this body congratulate Christen Rippe and Gavin Haslett, the 2024 Literary13
State Champions in Dramatic Interpretation, and extend best wishes for future success.14

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized

and directed to make appropriate copies of this resolution available for distribution to16
