| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Senator Raphael G. Warnock has dedicated innumerable hours of his time and2 |

| 10 | 10 | | energy to public service, advocacy, and ministry, addressing critical issues such as healthcare3 |

| 11 | 11 | | access, voting rights, economic opportunity, and criminal justice reform; and4 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, he was elected as Georgia's first Black United States Senator in 2021 and5 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | successfully defended his seat in December 2022, where he has since continued his work to6 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | create jobs, address the maternal mortality crisis, and expand healthcare access; and7 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, he currently serves on the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee;8 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee; Finance Committee; and the Special9 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Committee on Aging, supporting policies that strengthen the economy, support rural10 |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | communities, and protect vulnerable populations; and11 |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, during his exemplary tenure, he has used his moral voice to champion policies12 |

| 20 | 20 | | that serve Georgians, including efforts to reduce gun violence, close the healthcare gap,13 |

| 21 | 21 | | strengthen economic opportunities, and protect the fundamental right to vote; and14 |

| 29 | 29 | | Warnock has demonstrated an enduring commitment to improving the lives of Georgians and19 |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this21 |

| 32 | 32 | | remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately honored.22 |

| 33 | 33 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that23 |
