21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, during her tenure in the House of Representatives, Mesha Mainor authored5 |

22 | 22 | | bipartisan legislation establishing the Fulton Technology and Energy Authority, the nation's6 |

23 | 23 | | first public agency focused on the fourth industrial revolution workforce; and7 |

24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, she further served as vice chairwoman of the Governmental Affairs8 |

25 | 25 | | Subcommittee on Local Redistricting and Elections and championed legislation promoting9 |

26 | 26 | | government spending transparency, school choice, public safety, healthcare, and regulated10 |

28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Mesha Mainor made history as the first African American woman to serve in12 |

40 | 40 | | WHEREAS, her significant organizational and leadership talents, remarkable patience and21 |

41 | 41 | | diplomacy, keen sense of vision, and sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have22 |

42 | 42 | | earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and associates; and23 |

43 | 43 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this24 |

45 | 45 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that26 |
