| 10 | 10 | | bipartisan solutions that address gun violence, support small businesses, strengthen the3 |

| 11 | 11 | | economy, protect veterans, and lower healthcare and prescription drug costs; and4 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, since taking office in January 2019, she has worked across party lines to5 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | advance meaningful legislation, earning recognition as an effective lawmaker and a leading6 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | voice within the House Democratic Caucus; and7 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, she played a key role in the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first8 |

| 16 | 16 | | comprehensive gun safety legislation in over three decades; championed the HAVEN Act,9 |

| 17 | 17 | | which provides protections for veterans experiencing financial hardship; and supported a bill10 |

| 18 | 18 | | to limit the cost of insulin for seniors on Medicare to $35 per month; and11 |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, her advocacy in Congress has been shaped by her lived experiences, particularly12 |
