19 | 19 | | with the passing of Dorothy Sanders Shaw on February 23, 2025; and3 |

20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Sanders Shaw was born on August 13, 1934, the beloved daughter of4 |

21 | 21 | | Beatrice Bailey and Charles Penn Sanders; and5 |

22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, after earning her bachelor's degree in 1956 from the Mississippi State College6 |

23 | 23 | | for Women, she began her distinguished career in civil service as a logistics analyst with the7 |

24 | 24 | | United States Air Force at Warner Robins Air Force Base in Georgia; and8 |

25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, in 1984, she advanced her career with a promotion that led her to9 |

26 | 26 | | Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, and in 1986, she transitioned to a role as10 |

27 | 27 | | a budget analyst at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., where she continued her exemplary11 |

38 | 38 | | WHEREAS, she was united in love and marriage to her husband, Wayne, and was blessed19 |
