| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, there are more than 30,000 firefighters in the State of Georgia from 900 fire3 |

| 20 | 20 | | departments who risk their lives every day to provide emergency services; and4 |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, these services include fire prevention, fire suppression, and above all saving5 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | those whose lives are threatened by fires and other dire situations; and6 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, the brave firefighters of Georgia have selflessly committed their lives to7 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | protection of life and property; and8 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, these heroes have played a crucial role in maintaining firefighting standards and9 |

| 26 | 26 | | increasing the awareness of fire prevention and suppression methods in Georgia; and10 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, because of the sacrifice these outstanding individuals make each day, the11 |

| 35 | 35 | | WHEREAS, the firefighters of Georgia continue to set an incredibly high standard for16 |

| 36 | 36 | | firefighting and public service; and17 |

| 37 | 37 | | WHEREAS, their commitment to the safety of their fellow citizens is evidenced in their18 |

| 38 | 38 | | exemplary conduct and determination; and19 |

| 39 | 39 | | WHEREAS, it is most fitting and proper that Georgia's firefighters be recognized for their20 |

| 41 | 41 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that22 |
