1616 Recognizing and commending the Atlantic Institute; and for other purposes.

1818 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization committed to2
1919 fostering dialogue, education, and cultural understanding; and3
2020 WHEREAS, the Institute promotes mutual respect and peace by increasing public awareness4
2121 of diverse cultures, beliefs, traditions, and perspectives; and5
2222 WHEREAS, the Institute organizes and hosts educational programs, panel discussions, and6
2323 cultural events that encourage dialogue on global and societal issues; and7
2424 WHEREAS, the organization actively engages in interfaith and intercultural initiatives to8
2525 promote cooperation and harmony among communities; and9
2626 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute fosters civic engagement and social responsibility through10
2727 community service projects and collaborative initiatives; and11
2828 WHEREAS, the organization provides opportunities for youth engagement and leadership12
2929 development through programs that nurture cross-cultural understanding; and13

3232 WHEREAS, the Institute's commitment to peacebuilding is demonstrated through its efforts

3434 to address social divisions and foster connections between different communities; and15
3535 WHEREAS, the Institute builds strong partnerships with academic institutions, faith-based16
3636 organizations, and civic leaders to create spaces for constructive dialogue; and17
3737 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute works to counter prejudice, discrimination, and18
3838 misunderstanding by emphasizing shared values and common ground among people of all19
3939 backgrounds; and20
4040 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute's annual events, including interfaith dinners, cultural21
4141 exchange programs, and academic discussions, serve as platforms for meaningful22
4242 conversations and collaboration; and23
4343 WHEREAS, the organization enhances societal enrichment by fostering discussions on24
4444 critical social issues such as democracy and the promotion of peaceful coexistence; and25
4545 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute actively contributes to peaceful coexistence in the26
4646 Southeastern United States by fostering dialogue and building bridges between communities;27

4848 WHEREAS, the Institute honors and highlights diverse cultural traditions through artistic and29
4949 culinary events that foster appreciation and cross-cultural exchange; and30
5050 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute's commitment to fostering dialogue aligns with the31
5151 principles of unity, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals; and32

5454 WHEREAS, through its many initiatives, the organization has had a significant and positive

5757 WHEREAS, the work of the Atlantic Institute is deserving of recognition for its continued35
5858 efforts in fostering peace, understanding, and cultural appreciation; and36
5959 WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute has established branches in Florida, Alabama, Georgia,37
6060 Tennessee, and South Carolina, expanding its outreach and impact across the Southeastern38
6161 United States.39
6262 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that40
6363 the members of this body recognize and commend the Atlantic Institute for its dedication to41
6464 fostering dialogue, cultural understanding, and peacebuilding as well as extend best wishes42
6565 for continued success.43
6666 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized44
6767 and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the45
6868 Atlantic Institute.46
