| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria has significantly impacted Kenya's energy sector3 |

| 15 | 15 | | as the Director General of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) since4 |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, in his current role as Director General of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory6 |

| 18 | 18 | | Authority (EPRA), Mr. Bargoria regulates Kenya's electricity and petroleum sectors,7 |

| 19 | 19 | | ensuring efficient and sustainable operations across the entire value chain; and8 |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Bargoria's leadership is marked by several notable achievements, including9 |

| 21 | 21 | | as chairman of the Government's First Oil Committee, where he oversaw the delivery of10 |

| 22 | 22 | | Kenya's first oil, a historic milestone positioning Kenya as a new player in the global oil11 |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Bargoria's contributions to Kenya's energy legislation are significant, as he13 |
