A RESOLUTION
Commending and congratulating Cole Creel; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Cole Creel has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the most distinguished rank2
conferred by the Boy Scouts of America; and3
WHEREAS, a candidate for the most exceptional award in scouting must complete a4
rigorous program of training and demonstrate his proficiency in selected scouting techniques5
and the attainment of the highest ideals of scouting; and6
WHEREAS, only one scout out of 97 ever reaches this lofty level of achievement, and Cole7
has ably evidenced his aptitude and competency in mastering the various special skills taught8
through the Scouts BSA program; and9
WHEREAS, this hard-working young man has demonstrated great leadership skills and10
initiative during his years with the Scouts BSA program; and11
WHEREAS, an outstanding Georgian, Cole has truly exhibited a commitment to the scouting12
principles of honesty and fairness and has consistently conducted himself in a manner13
becoming of an Eagle Scout; and14

WHEREAS, the perseverance and determination displayed by this exceptional young leader

set an example for all Georgians, and great success is surely in this young man's future.16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17
the members of this body commend Cole Creel for his diligence and dedication in pursuing18
the highest honor awarded by the Boy Scouts of America and congratulate him on attaining19
the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized21
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Cole22
Creel. 23
