| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Social Workers are dedicated to enhancing well-being and helping meet the4 |

| 12 | 12 | | basic needs of all people, especially the most vulnerable in our society; and5 |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Social Workers follow a Code of Ethics that calls on them to fight social6 |

| 14 | 14 | | injustice and respect the dignity and worth of all people; and7 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Social Workers meet people where they are and help people and communities8 |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Social Workers are the largest group of mental healthcare providers in the15 |

| 26 | 26 | | United States, working daily to help thousands of Americans overcome mental illness.16 |

| 27 | 27 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that17 |

| 28 | 28 | | the members of this body commend Paulding County's social workers during this year's18 |

| 29 | 29 | | National Social Worker Month for their outstanding service on behalf of those in need as19 |
