1414 Recognizing International Literacy Day, honoring the contributions of Trinity International

1616 University of Ambassadors, and celebrating Dr. Jacqueline Mohair and Dr. Cheryl2

1818 WHEREAS, International Literacy Day, established by UNESCO and observed annually on4
1919 September 8, highlights the critical importance of literacy in fostering education, social5
2020 inclusion, and sustainable development across the globe; and6
2121 WHEREAS, literacy is a fundamental right that empowers individuals, strengthens7
2222 communities, and drives societal progress, and this day serves as an opportunity to address8
2323 global literacy challenges and advocate for inclusive learning opportunities; and9
2424 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia recognizes and celebrates the transformative work of Dr.10
2525 Jacqueline Mohair, founder of Trinity International University of Ambassadors, TIUA11
2626 School of Business, and Trinity International Chaplaincy Institute, for her lifelong dedication12
2727 to advancing education, leadership, and global advocacy through innovative programs; and13

3030 WHEREAS, Dr. Mohair, through the Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Literary and Fine

3232 Arts Leadership program, has created a platform for leaders to integrate faith, literary arts,15
3333 and leadership, providing a profound impact on communities in Georgia and worldwide; and16
3434 WHEREAS, the program is guided by Dr. Cheryl Polote-Williamson, Dean of Christian17
3535 Literary Arts and Leadership, whose mentorship and inclusion of the Soul Shift Coaching18
3636 Program equip students with purpose-driven leadership and mindset mastery; and19
3737 WHEREAS, the program emphasizes practical applications of literary and leadership skills,20
3838 with students presenting capstone projects or dissertations on global platforms, including the21
3939 United Nations International Literacy Day, amplifying their contributions to literacy22
4040 advocacy; and23
4141 WHEREAS, the State of Georgia acknowledges the critical role of literacy in creating24
4242 equitable opportunities and recognizes the contributions of Trinity International University25
4343 of Ambassadors in preparing leaders to address modern educational and social challenges26
4444 through faith and creativity.27
4545 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that28
4646 the members of this body recognize International Literacy Day and its mission to promote29
4747 literacy as a tool for individual empowerment and global progress, honor Trinity30
4848 International University of Ambassadors, and celebrate the contributions of Dr. Jacqueline31
4949 Mohair and Dr. Cheryl Polote-Williamson in guiding students to become global advocates32
