A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Stacey Garel; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Stacey Garel has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital2
role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare of3
the citizens of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, Stacey, an Atlanta Native who now resides in Stonecrest, Georgia, is a certified5
Event Planner and professional writer; and6
WHEREAS, she is an Bestselling published author with the 9 times best-selling book Peeling7
Off The Layers To Unmask New Beginnings; and8
WHEREAS, she has worked on National conferences, trade shows, and events such as the9
2012 Democratic National Convention for former President Barack Obama as well as the10
2013 and 2019 Super Bowls; and11
WHEREAS, in 2023, Stacey was nominated for a RICE Award as Founder's Rising and12
received an Outstanding Citizen Award from the state of Georgia; and13

WHEREAS, she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for

integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and15
WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this16
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.17
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that18
the members of this body recognize and commend Stacey Garel for her outstanding literary19
contributions as well as extend sincere best wishes for her continued health, happiness, and20
success.21
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized22
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to23
Stacey Garel.24
