| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Jerrica Richardson has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the2 |

| 19 | 19 | | vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to the welfare3 |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,5 |

| 22 | 22 | | talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as evidenced6 |

| 23 | 23 | | dramatically by her superlative service with the Cobb County Board of Commissioners; and7 |

| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, in 2020, she made history when she was the first African American elected to8 |

| 25 | 25 | | serve District 2 on the Cobb County Board of Commissioners; and9 |
