77 To amend Chapter 24A of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to

99 massage therapy practice, so as to increase the number of education hours applicable to2
1010 licensed massage therapists; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for3
1111 other purposes.4
1212 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:5
1313 SECTION 1.6
1414 Chapter 24A of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to massage7
1515 therapy practice, is amended by revising paragraph (6) of subsection (b) of Code8
1616 Section 43-24A-8, relating to licensure of massage therapists, application, and requirements,9
1717 as follows:10
1818 "(6) The applicant has completed successfully a board recognized massage therapy11
1919 educational program consisting of a minimum of 500
2020 625 hours of course and clinical12
2121 work;"13
2222 SECTION 2.14
2323 All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.15
