A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To amend Code Section 16-6-13 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to

penalties for violating Code Sections 16-6-9 through 16-6-12, so as to repeal certain penalty2
provisions for the offense of prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution, pimping, and3
pandering; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal4
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.5
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:6
SECTION 1.7
Code Section 16-6-13 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to penalties for8
violating Code Sections 16-6-9 through 16-6-12, is amended by repealing and reserving the9
entirety of subsection (b).10
SECTION 2.11
This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its becoming law12
without such approval.13

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.15
