| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Linda J. Davidson joined the Alzheimer's Association as the executive director3 |

| 10 | 10 | | of the Georgia Chapter in June 2017, and she has since demonstrated exceptional leadership4 |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | in donor management and team development as well as served as a driving force behind the5 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | organization's growth; and6 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, the Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in7 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Alzheimer's care, support, and research as well as the voice for Alzheimer's disease8 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | advocacy, fighting for critical care initiatives at the state and federal level; and9 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Linda's expertise has proven invaluable in growing the reach and services of10 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the Alzheimer's Association for the more than 150,000 Georgia residents living with11 |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia; and12 |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, prior to her position with the Alzheimer's Association, Linda diligently worked13 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | with United Way and Catholic Social Services as well as served as the senior director of14 |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Relay For Life for the American Cancer Association; and15 |

| 29 | 29 | | vision and unyielding commitment to operational excellence will be sorely missed upon the20 |

| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this22 |

| 32 | 32 | | remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.23 |

| 33 | 33 | | NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body24 |

| 35 | 35 | | congratulate her upon the grand occasion of her retirement, and extend the most sincere best26 |
