| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, with 12 to 14 years of education, including medical school and 12,000 to 16,0006 |

| 13 | 13 | | hours of training, physician anesthesiologists possess the necessary knowledge to understand7 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, physician anesthesiologists play a critical role in keeping patients safe in this9 |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, the Anesthesia Care Team model, led by physician anesthesiologists, is widely12 |

| 19 | 19 | | recognized as the gold standard of care used in all our nation's top hospitals to protect13 |
