| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, there are 95 general aviation airports in the State of Georgia that are essential4 |

| 11 | 11 | | to the state's transportation and economic infrastructure, supporting its diversified industries5 |

| 12 | 12 | | including technology, manufacturing, distribution, tourism, and agriculture; these businesses6 |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | utilize Georgia's airports to transport employees, customers, vendors, and goods, which spur7 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | economic development; and8 |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Georgia general aviation airports have an economic impact of more than $29 |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | billion dollars to the State of Georgia; and10 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, the Association of Georgia General Aviation Airports (AGGAA) was founded11 |

| 18 | 18 | | in 2021 as a nonprofit agency to promote general aviation airports, provide information12 |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | sharing and education, and promote progressive legislation in order to expand and improve13 |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | the infrastructure needs of general aviation airports in the State of Georgia; and14 |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, AGGAA is a major resource for those in the general aviation industry,18 |

| 28 | 28 | | providing educational, scholarship, and networking opportunities for those interested in the19 |

| 29 | 29 | | development of airports across the State of Georgia; and20 |

| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, its board members are Chair Amber McCall, Toccoa-Stevens County Airport;21 |

| 31 | 31 | | Vice Chair Davin Welter, Athens-Ben Epps Airport; Secretary Adam Webb, Covington22 |
