A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Pierce County High School competition cheerleading team for winning

the 2024 AA Division State Cheerleading Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Pierce County High School competition cheerleading team has built a3
distinguished legacy of excellence, combining strong academics with outstanding athleticism4
and character; and5
WHEREAS, throughout the 2024 season, the team demonstrated remarkable teamwork,6
perseverance, and skill, culminating in an undefeated season and a well-earned victory at the7
AA Division State Cheerleading Championship; and8
WHEREAS, the team's success is a testament to the individual talent, persistent work ethic,9
and collective spirit of its members as well as the guidance and leadership provided by Coach10
Mandy Beverly, who has coached seven consecutive Region Championship teams; and11
WHEREAS, the state championship-winning team roster included Mollie Williams, Suzanna12
Carrin, Kalan Mills, Mylie Cason, Kaitlyn Sapp, Lindy Jane Dyal, Anna Kate Horne, Julia13
Swain, Zoie Hendry, Macy Thornton, Mylee Simmons, Abby Reese Wright, Sarah Kate14

Echols, Aniston Allen, Anslie Allen, Nayla Andreae, Katie Jo Mills, Ansley Tippins,

Addison Jordan, Serena Hickox, and Jillian Brogdon; and16
WHEREAS, the team's journey to this championship was marked by months of intense17
training, unyielding focus, and extraordinary performances, solidifying their reputation as18
true state champions.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body20
congratulate the Pierce County High School competition cheerleading team for winning the21
2024 AA Division State Cheerleading Championship and extend best wishes for continued22
success.23
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed24
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the Pierce County25
High School competition cheerleading team.26
