A RESOLUTION
Congratulating Rachel Kinsaul for winning the Milken Educator Award; and for other

purposes.2
WHEREAS, nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young3
people, and Rachel Kinsaul exemplifies the selfless dedication that is characteristic of our4
finest teachers; and5
WHEREAS, Rachel Kinsaul is a highly praised agricultural science teacher at Morgan6
County High School in Madison, Georgia, who dedicates countless hours toward guiding7
students to a brighter future; and8
WHEREAS, this school year, she was pivotal in opening the Morgan Agricultural Learning9
Lab, which houses the livestock showmanship program and allows students to advance their10
learning with hands-on experiences, such as raising livestock; and11
WHEREAS, the Milken Educator Awards recognize the best teachers across the nation; this12
year, Rachel Kinsaul is the sole recipient in Georgia; and13

WHEREAS, as a result of her dedication to her students and her profession, Rachel Kinsaul

is also a top-10 finalist for the 2026 Georgia Teacher of the Year Award; and 15
WHEREAS, in recognition of such remarkable contributions to the education and welfare16
of Georgia's students, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the17
extraordinary accomplishments and academic achievements of this outstanding educator.18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body19
congratulate Rachel Kinsaul for winning the Milken Educator Award and express their most20
sincere best wishes for her continued success.21
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed22
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Rachel Kinsaul.23
