A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Serenity Empire Senior Living; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, founded in 2015 from humble beginnings, Serenity Empire Senior Living has2
since grown into a thriving and respected network composed of seven senior care facilities3
located throughout the State of Georgia; and4
WHEREAS, this distinguished organization has made history as the first Black-owned senior5
living provider with multiple locations in Georgia, setting a new standard for quality and6
compassionate care in the industry; and7
WHEREAS, Serenity Empire Senior Living further holds the distinction of being the first8
locally owned assisted living facility in the West Georgia area, delivering care that is deeply9
rooted in community values; and10
WHEREAS, at the core of its success is a team of passionate, loving, and dedicated11
caregivers who ensure that each resident is treated with dignity and respect through12
personalized care plans, wellness programs, and enriching community activities; and13

WHEREAS, the organization was named Small Business of the Year in 2024 by Douglas

County in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the local economy and its role as15
a model of excellence in senior services; and16
WHEREAS, Serenity Empire Senior Living remains steadfast in its mission to create a17
nurturing and safe environment for seniors during their golden years, continually raising the18
standard for person-centered care; and19
WHEREAS, through its dedication and innovation, Serenity Empire Senior Living serves as20
an inspiring example of excellence for providers throughout Georgia and beyond, making21
it abundantly fitting and proper that it be appropriately honored.22
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body23
recognize and commend Serenity Empire Senior Living for its commitment to senior24
well-being, community development, and outstanding leadership in the field of elder care as25
well as extend best wishes for continued success.26
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed27
to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Serenity Empire28
Senior Living.29
