| 11 | 11 | | education by obtaining both a master's and a specialist's degree from Georgia State5 |

| 12 | 12 | | University, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning, including her6 |

| 13 | 13 | | enrollment in a doctoral program at Georgia State University in 2021; and7 |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Marilyn Arrington dedicated over 30 years to shaping young minds in the8 |

| 15 | 15 | | Atlanta Public Schools system, beginning her career at the historic Booker T. Washington9 |

| 16 | 16 | | High School and later extending her impact by teaching GED preparation at Atlanta10 |
