BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII: HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES H.B. NO. 1216 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE, 2021 STATE OF HAWAII HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES H.B. NO. 1216 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE, 2021 STATE OF HAWAII A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO PLANNED COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 421J, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows: "§421J- Budget increases; board approval. Any budget increases to members of an association shall be approved by at least sixty per cent of the members of the board." SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored. SECTION 3.
