A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE WAIANAE COAST COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CENTER EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this Act is to appropriate funds to the Department of Health to procure services from the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center for the public purpose of operating a twenty-four-hour, year-round emergency department to serve the residents of the Waianae coast. SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 to procure services from the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center for the operation of a twenty-four-hour, year-round emergency department to serve the residents of the Waianae coast. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
