37	37		RELATING TO HAWAII TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.

43	43		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47		-	SECTION 1. The legislature finds that Hawaii's manufacturing industry is a critical part of the State's economy. The Hawaii small business innovation research program, manufacturing assistance grant program, and ~~accelerator~~ grant program offered by the Hawaii technology development corporation help fund and support the State's ~~technology,~~ manufacturing~~, and start-up~~ businesses. Accordingly, the purpose of this Act is to appropriate funds to the Hawaii technology development corporation for its ~~programs that support small businesses in innovation and research,~~ manufacturing ~~businesses, and start-up accelerators~~. SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the Hawaii small business innovation research program. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 3. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the manufacturing assistance grant program. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 4. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 to support the ~~accelerator~~ grant program. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
