43	43		BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47		-	SECTION 1. Chapter 342L, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows: "§342L- Large capacity underground storage tanks prohibited. Beginning ~~July 1,~~ ~~2023~~, the operation of an underground storage tank with a capacity greater than ~~one hundred thousand~~ gallons shall be prohibited." SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect ~~on July 1, 2050~~.
