4343 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47- SECTION 1. There is appropriated from moneys in the treasury received from federal funds the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2021-2022 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the establishment of one full-time equivalent (1.00 FTE) permanent federal grant coordinator position within the office of the director of health (HTH 907); provided that the federal grant coordinator shall coordinate the planning and preparation of grant proposals for the department of health and the department of human services to ensure that both departments maximize their receipt of federal grant moneys. The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2060.
