4747 SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $63,080,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary, and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the purpose of capital improvement projects for the sixteenth senatorial district, as follows: 1. Aiea Elementary School A. Campus-wide covered walkways, parking lot solar canopy, and ground and site improvements. Design $40,000 Construction $1,570,00 Equipment $300,000 Total funding $1,910,000 2. Aiea High School A. New culinary facility. Design $250,000 Construction $3,150,000 Equipment $600,000 Total funding $5,000,000 B. ADA compliance upgrades for parking lot near flagpole. SECTION 3. The sums appropriated for the respective capital improvement projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 4.
