4343 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47- SECTION 1. Section 269-33, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (d) to read as follows: "(d) All moneys in excess of [$1,000,000] $ remaining on balance in the public utilities commission special fund on June 30 of each year shall lapse to the credit of the state general fund; provided that this ceiling shall not apply to the subaccount established in subsections (e) and (f)." SECTION 2. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
