37	37	RELATING TO EMPLOYEES OF HAWAII HEALTH SYSTEMS CORPORATION.

43	43	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47	47	SECTION 1. Chapter 323F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows: "§323F- Public employees; negotiated pay raises; appropriations. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the legislature shall appropriate moneys to fund pay raises for public employees of the corporation; provided that the pay raises are agreed to through a collective bargaining or arbitration process." SECTION 2. This Act does not affect rights and duties that matured, penalties that were incurred, and proceedings that were begun before its effective date. SECTION 3. New statutory material is underscored. SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on June 30, 3000.
