Chapter 149A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows: "§149A- Pesticide inspection program; restricted use pesticides; banned pesticides. (a) The department shall establish and implement a pesticide inspection program to: (1) Increase compliance with proper use of restricted use pesticides; and (2) Ensure the continued prohibition on the use or application of pesticides containing chlorpyrifos pursuant to section 149A-31(7). (b) In establishing the pesticide inspection program, the department shall: (1) Develop a system to conduct | |
