43	43	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

47	47	SECTION 1. The legislature finds that the Mauna Kea stewardship and oversight authority was established pursuant to Act 255, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022, and codified under chapter 195H, Hawaii Revised Statutes. Additionally, pursuant to section 195H-1, Hawaii Revised Statutes, "[i]t is expected that amendments and additions will need to be made in future legislative sessions to ensure a mutually beneficial balance is always maintained for Mauna Kea and the people of Hawaii." Therefore, the purpose of this Act is to effectuate the title of this Act. SECTION 2. The Hawaii Revised Statutes is amended to conform to the purpose of this Act. SECTION 3.
