Under current law, a moving 28 violation can be considered for purposes of administrative 29 suspension of a drivers license or to establish habitual 30 offender status. However, a peace officer is required to issue 31 a warning memorandum in lieu of a citation for violations that 32 occur during the period between the effective date of the bill 33 and January 1, 2024. 34 Under Code section 321.482A, if a person is convicted for a 35 -7- LSB 1231XS (1) 90 th/ns 7/ 8
