Provide legal representation in contempt 3 of court proceedings to recover criminal restitution ordered in 4 a case in which a public employee, as defined in section 20.3, 5 subsection 9, was killed as a result of criminal action while 6 in the scope of employment. 7 EXPLANATION 8 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 9 the explanations substance by the members of the general assembly. 10 This bill relates to duties of the attorney general. 11 The bill directs the attorney general to provide legal 12 representation in contempt of court proceedings to recover 13 criminal restitution ordered in a case in which a public 14 employee was killed as a result of criminal action while in the 15 scope of employment.
