11	11	1 AN ACT concerning education.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section
15	15	5 1-2 as follows:
16	16	6 (105 ILCS 5/1-2) (from Ch. 122, par. 1-2)
17	17	7 Sec. 1-2. Construction. The The provisions of this Act, so
18	18	8 far as they are the same as those of any prior statute, shall
19	19	9 be construed as a continuation of such prior provisions, and
20	20	10 not as a new enactment.
21	21	11 If in any other statute reference is made to an Act of the
22	22	12 General Assembly, or a section of such an Act, which is
23	23	13 continued in this School Code, such reference shall be held to
24	24	14 refer to the Act or section thereof so continued in this Code.
