11	11	1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
15	15	5 changing Section 9A-10 as follows:
16	16	6 (305 ILCS 5/9A-10) (from Ch. 23, par. 9A-10)
17	17	7 Sec. 9A-10. Support Services.
18	18	8 (a) The The Illinois Department shall provide or pay for
19	19	9 child care and other support services, if otherwise
20	20	10 unavailable, to enable recipients to participate in or prepare
21	21	11 for education, training and employment programs authorized
22	22	12 under this Article. The Illinois Department shall provide and
23	23	13 pay for such support services in accordance with procedures,
24	24	14 standards and rates established by rule.
25	25	15 (b) Support services may include:
26	26	16 (1) transportation;
27	27	17 (2) child care;
28	28	18 (3) job search allowance;
29	29	19 (4) initial employment expenses;
30	30	20 (5) required books, fees, supplies; and
31	31	21 (6) required physical examinations and medical
32	32	22 services.
