1 AN ACT concerning local government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
5 adding Section 1-2-1.3 as follows:
6 (65 ILCS 5/1-2-1.3 new)
7 Sec. 1-2-1.3. Pet grooming vending machines. The corporate
8 authorities of a municipality may adopt an ordinance to
9 prohibit or regulate the location of vending machines that
10 provide an enclosed space or designated area for the use of a
11 customer for pet grooming using goods or services dispensed by
12 the machine.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
