11	11	1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Nurse Practice Act is amended by adding
15	15	5 Section 50-80 as follows:
16	16	6 (225 ILCS 65/50-80 new)
17	17	7 Sec. 50-80. Tuition reimbursement program. An individual
18	18	8 licensed under this Act may apply for a program that provides a
19	19	9 full tuition reimbursement to individuals who: (i) attended
20	20	10 and graduated from an education program based in the State;
21	21	11 and (ii) commit to working in a safety-net hospital in the
22	22	12 State for at least 5 years. As used in this Section,
23	23	13 "safety-net hospital" means a hospital identified by the
24	24	14 Department of Healthcare and Family Services under Section
25	25	15 5-5e.1 of the Illinois Public Aid Code.
