1 AN ACT concerning employment.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Prevailing Wage Act is amended by adding
5 Section 3.3 as follows:
6 (820 ILCS 130/3.3 new)
7 Sec. 3.3. Subcontractor purveyors and subcontractor
8 bidders for Illinois lottery machines. Notwithstanding any
9 other provision of law, all subcontractor purveyors of and
10 subcontractor bidders for installation, repair, wiring, and
11 maintenance services to Illinois lottery machines and
12 equipment shall pay no less than the prevailing rate of wages
13 for like work and services as determined under this Act.
14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
15 2024.
