1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Housing Development Act is amended
5 by adding Section 7.33 as follows:
6 (20 ILCS 3805/7.33 new)
7 Sec. 7.33. Senior Home Preservation Grant Program.
8 (a) As used in this Section, "legacy resident seniors"
9 means seniors 65 years or older who have lived in their
10 community family home for at least 30 years.
11 (b) From funds appropriated, directly or indirectly, from
12 moneys received by the State from the Coronavirus State Fiscal
13 Recovery Fund in accordance with the American Rescue Plan Act
14 of 2021, the Illinois Housing Development Authority shall
