11	11	1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act is
15	15	5 amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
16	16	6 (225 ILCS 15/1) (from Ch. 111, par. 5351)
17	17	7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027)
18	18	8 Sec. 1. The The practice of clinical psychology in
19	19	9 Illinois is hereby declared to affect the public health,
20	20	10 safety and welfare, and to be subject to regulations in the
21	21	11 public interest to protect the public from persons who are
22	22	12 unauthorized or unqualified to represent themselves as
23	23	13 clinical psychologists or as being able to render clinical
24	24	14 psychological services as herein defined, and from
25	25	15 unprofessional conduct by persons licensed to practice
26	26	16 clinical psychology. This Act shall be known and may be cited
27	27	17 as the "Clinical Psychologist Licensing Act".
