80 | 80 | | 13 (e) Nothing in this Section prevents a landlord from |
---|
81 | 81 | | 14 seeking to collect rent due under the lease agreement. |

82 | 82 | | 15 (f) Except as otherwise provided in this Section, a |
---|
83 | 83 | | 16 landlord shall not: |

84 | 84 | | 17 (1) unless required by law or court order, threaten to |
---|
85 | 85 | | 18 disclose or actually disclose information regarding or |
---|
86 | 86 | | 19 relating to the immigration or citizenship status of a |
---|
87 | 87 | | 20 tenant to any person, entity, or any immigration or law |
---|
88 | 88 | | 21 enforcement agency with the intent of harassing or |
---|
89 | 89 | | 22 intimidating the tenant, retaliating against the tenant |
---|
90 | 90 | | 23 for exercising his or her rights, or influencing the |
---|
91 | 91 | | 24 tenant to surrender possession; or |
---|
92 | 92 | | 25 (2) unless required by law or court order, bring an |
