SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $8,100,000 to the Auditor General for the
ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the Auditor
General. Appropriates $33,205,479 to the Auditor General from
the Audit Expense Fund for administrative and operations
expenses and audits, studies, investigations, and expenses
related to actuarial services. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations to the Auditor General. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of those 4
amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to 5
the Auditor General to meet the ordinary and contingent 6
expenses of the Office of the Auditor General, as provided in 7
the Illinois State Auditing Act: 8
For Personal Services: 9
For Regular Positions .......................... $7,500,000 10
For State Contribution to Social Security ......... $600,000 11
Total $8,100,000 12
Section 10. The sum of $ $33,205,479, or so much of that 13
amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Auditor 14
General from the Audit Expense Fund for administrative and 15
operations expenses and audits, studies, investigations, and 16
expenses related to actuarial services. 17
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 18
2023. 19
