1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The General Assembly Operations Act is amended
5 by adding Section 8 as follows:
6 (25 ILCS 10/8 new)
7 Sec. 8. Revenue estimate. On and after the effective date
8 of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly, the
9 General Assembly shall, by joint resolution, establish a
10 revenue estimate for the following State fiscal year by April
11 30 of each year.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law.
