11	11	1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
12	12	2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
13	13	3 represented in the General Assembly:
14	14	4 Section 5. The Railroad Bridge Act is amended by changing
15	15	5 Section 1 as follows:
16	16	6 (610 ILCS 40/1) (from Ch. 114, par. 45)
17	17	7 Sec. 1. Railroads terminating, or to terminate at any
18	18	8 point on any line of continuous railroad thoroughfare where
19	19	9 there now is or shall be a railroad bridge for crossing of
20	20	10 passengers and and freight in cars over the same as part of
21	21	11 such thoroughfare, shall make convenient connections of such
22	22	12 railroads, by rail, with the rail of such bridge; and such
23	23	13 bridge shall permit and cause such connections of the rail of
24	24	14 the same with the rail of such railroads so that by reason of
25	25	15 said railroads and bridge, there shall be uninterrupted
26	26	16 communication over such railroads and bridge as public
27	27	17 thoroughfares. But by such connections no corporate rights
28	28	18 shall be impaired.
