4-AN ACT concerning civil law.
5-Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
6-represented in the General Assembly:
7-Section 5. The Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of
8-Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs, is authorized
9-to convey by Quitclaim Deed all right, title, and interest of
10-the State of Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs
11-in and to the real estate described in Section 10 to the City
12-of Lawrenceville, subject to the conditions and restriction
13-described in Section 15.
14-Section 10. The Adjutant General is authorized to convey
15-the following described real property:
16-A part of Hennessy's Porter Avenue Addition to
17-Lawrenceville, Illinois as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 92,
18-Lawrence County, Illinois, and described as follows:
19-Commencing at a point of beginning, an iron pin, at the
20-Southeast Corner of Lot 22 of said Addition; thence North
21-89 55' 24" West along the South line of Lot 22 a distance
22-of 125 feet to an iron pin, at the Southwest corner of Lot
23-22; thence North 38 22' 36" West a distance of 143.98 feet
24-to an iron pin at the most Southerly Corner of Lot 16;

4+2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5+3 represented in the General Assembly:
6+4 Section 5. The Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of
7+5 Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs, is authorized

36-North 45 37' 54" East a distance of 17 feet to the most
37-Northerly Corner of Lot 19; thence South 44 17' 30" East
38-along the Northeasterly line of Lots 19 and 42 a distance
39-of 184.23 feet to a point at the Northeasterly Corner of
40-Lot 42; thence South 0 00' 00" West along the East line of
41-Lot 42 a distance of 24.34 feet to an iron pin; thence
42-continuing South 0 00' 00" West a distance of 215.6 feet
43-to the point of beginning.
44-Section 15. The Adjutant General shall not convey the real
45-property described in Section 10 to the City of Lawrenceville
46-until the Adjutant General determines that the property is no
47-longer required for military purposes. Conveyance of the above
48-real property will be in an "as is" condition, and the City of
49-Lawrenceville will pay all required costs and expenses for the
50-conveyance, as determined by the Adjutant General. The
51-Quitclaim Deed shall state on its face and be subject to the
52-condition that if the property is no longer used for public
53-purpose, then title shall revert without further action to the
54-State of Illinois.

57-Section 20. The Adjutant General shall obtain a certified
58-copy of this Act from the Secretary of State within 60 days
59-after its effective date and, upon the conveyance of the real
60-estate described in Section 10 being made, shall cause the
61-certified copy of this Act to be recorded in the office of the
62-Recorder of Lawrence County, Illinois.
63-Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
64-becoming law.
