SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $2 from the General Revenue Fund to the
Teachers' Retirement System for its FY24 ordinary and
contingent expenses. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT making appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The amount of $2, or so much of that amount as 4
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 5
to the Teachers' Retirement System for its ordinary and 6
contingent expenses. 7
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 8
2023. 9
